Simple white steeda ball for me. Repels the searing Alabama summer heat really well.

Just got an EPCO knob. I got it from CJPonyParts along with the boot retainer thing. I love this thing. Can't believe I've owned this car over two years and didn't replace the euro-style knob.

The page said it would take 3-4 weeks to make it, but they must've had an extra, or they're buying in bulk because I got it in 3 days.

Sorry, shitty cellphone pic.

EDIT damn it. I resize it to 1024 and its still massive on my screen. No idea why.

Ok I read all 5 pages and still have a question hopefully someone can chime in. I have a few knobs that I like, my Steeda knob, and my JPC F'n Fast knob especially.

I just bought an MGW, it arrived early this week, and it has the Boss knob (with attached boot retainer) on it. I don't plan on using the boss knob (little boring for me) and I plan on swapping to the Alcantara boot from Ford.

My problem here is I keep finding everyone saying that a regular knob does not fit with the alcantara boot?? I don't have a 401A car so I don't have a way of checking if those retainers work either...it seems cheaper to buy any retainer than to go to Redline and have a custom boot made...does anyone have the retainer solution for me to run the Ford alcantara boot with a regular shift knob??

Bump, what is the knob they use in the stock photo in the 2014 mustang dealership catalog (the ones you can bring home). It is all aluminum like the knob I posted above. Anyone have any ideas? It appears to fit the booty nicely. Then again, my knob fits all my babies booty's nicely! :lol1:

I have a custom weighted Flossy knob, 600 grams, glossy black with the 3 bottom ridges, white pattern and 5.0 in red.

Bottom: since Flossy only does the shift knobs, I decided to call Barton and buy their shift boot retainer by itself because I liked it the best.

Top view: pics are from cell phone so I don't know if you'll see it well.

Between the weighted shift knob and the Amsoil tranny fluid, the MGW shifts buttery smooth and no notchyness at all. I'd deff go this route, it's worth it.
