Love black on black. I just can't do the maintenance I would have to do to keep it looking like I'd want... learned my lesson with my Lightning.

Awesome car.

Great deal i wonder if another dealer would honor that price?
Prob not, dealers think they are sitting on a limit prod car. Do they even do leasing for these? Ford as usual is behind on the times. I bet they will do the usual BS where they wont let you test drive a top of the line mustang.

Even dodge would do leasing for a hellcat, could you imagine how bad ass it would be to lease a '13 gt500 when it first came out back in 2012? That would have been sick.

I went shopping for a new GT this afternoon. I did not like how they looked initially when I saw pictures online, but they look a lot better in person. I just need to make a decision on base vs premium. I like the cloth seats on the base but I like all the electronic "toys" the premium package has... Car drove really nice and packs a hell of a punch though. Nice purchase man, I hope to join the family again soon.

I actually would prefer the leather in the premium since it is heated and cooled, just trying to figure out if the extra 4 grand is really worth it. I went to ford's website and printed out standard features on the base and premium and highlighted the differences. I'm going to be over budget with a premium so it's either buy a base or save up the extra and put it down on a premium

Depends what your goals are with the car.

My goal is to daily drive for about a year. Then go crazy with it. Wanted a base model for initial price point. I have an explorer with all the lights and extras. I'm just gettin older I guess. I could care less now about all that extra stuff. Even navigation I never use. If I go somewhere I don't know I usually check it on my phone first and then go from there.

That's an interesting take. I feel the opposite... the older I get, the more I find myself wanting the extra options. I went bare bones with my 2012, and I think that's why I've never really been happy with it.

One cool thing is that the 2015 has a bunch of standard features that were options on the previous models (track apps, HIDs, power seats, etc). So the base model isn't exactly lacking toys.

A little off-topic, but how comfortable are you with the idea of driving a stick in Houston traffic as a daily driver? I recently moved here and everyone (including the dealer) keeps telling me I should go for an automatic to make my life easier. I have driven a stick since I was 18 so while I can understand their point of view, it is a very bitter pill to swallow.

been driving stick for years in Houston and in Austin...**** what they think, go with your gut instinct. Driving a manual has become 2nd nature to me, almost automatic, sit in tons of stop'n'go traffic and it never bothers me...or my rehabbed left knee.

I've always owned manuals in houston in mustangs. Go with your gut. Also depends on what side of town and what your commute time is.

I work on the north side and live on the north side.
