I have a set of 14 new old stock OEM signature build plates available for sale. These are 100% original Ford pieces, they are not reproduced or imitations. These were the original build plates that were placed on the valve cover of the 5.4L Shelby GT500s from the factory. They are BRAND NEW and have never been installed, they still have the cover over the adhesive backing. I have a total of 14 featuring various stamped signature combinations of the Romeo niche line engine builders. I am willing to try to match the names that you have or had on your original build plate from your vehicle. Below you will find a list of the signature combinations that I have available, I will update the list as certain plates sell.

Signatures (please forgive me if a name is transcribed incorrectly, I have done my best to attempt to decipher the hand signatures):

Jeremy Comer & Jeff Peterson
Michael Deiter & Jerome K Barn
Larry Niahion? & Kimberly Naylor
B Woodman? & Robert J Shannon?
Paul Ganger? & Mel Darrington?
Marc Bittner & O.J. Henss?
Dattetiner? & Gritaln Allen?
Elvonne Fowler & Tammy Agiaur
?? & George Whiting

This will probably be the only opportunity you will find to purchase these brand new, and certainly the only shot at potentially matching your original signatures. I have never before seen original stampings sold.

I am asking $65 shipped per plate.

I'd be interested in this but I bought the car used and it had after market covers so I never had the build plate and have no idea who built my car. anybody know if there is a way to find this out? How many came with the original covers - one or one per side?

Don't like the price, don't buy them.

Exactly.

These are the ones that I purchased from the Ebay auction listed above. I came upon the auction and determined that the price the were selling at was way under value, so I made a few bids to make the purchase. The auction was not well put together and lacked in key search terms, so I suppose that it was under viewed, contributing to the low price. The entire automotive and collector market is comprised of individuals who have been able to buy low and sell high, that's the foundation of the industry. In fact, most of the automotive television shows on TV currently are founded on this plotline. I don't feel that the price I am selling for is unreasonable, it is just marginally higher than what people are selling used ones for. These are original ford pieces and have never before been installed, the auction was the only time I have ever seen or come across NOS build plates.

I'm fairly certain that the individual who posted the link was a bidder in competition with me, given that he must have watched the auction until the very end. Perhaps he is discontent in the fact that he was outbid, likely because he wanted the opportunity to do the same thing with the plates.

In any event, I'm by no means forcing anyone to buy these or taking advantage of anyone. Its not an item that anyone has to have, if they do not agree with my perception of value, then they do not have to purchase one. If anyone knows of a place that has brand new original stampings for a comparable or lower price, I would gladly lower mine. But good luck finding these anywhere else, I tried to when I was placing a value to them. I have seen used ones sell for more than $120, I honestly believe at this time that my price is fair.

You got a killer deal. I wasn't sure if you were the seller or one of the buyers. Thought maybe the seller backed out or something since they went really low. I'll just watch stuff like this & see what sell for.

I can just see some dude on the Romeo line smuggling these things out...

"What keeps clinking in your pants??"

"Uhhh.. got a LOT of change in there."

"Square change?"

"Yeah.. umm it's Greek!"

I have had several inquiries by private message, these are still available. Please PM me if you're interested and we can work out which of the signature combinations you need or prefer.

I've adjusted the price of the plates to reflect the market for them. I have several left that are available at $65 shipped per plate.
