yes i live in california, im ditching the stock mid pipe, and making my 01 cobra sound like it should with stingers, is anyone else running catless in a state which requires cats? if so have you got pulled over yet, and what did you say too try too get out of it. i was thinking of getting a radar detector and taking it easy in populated areas. i really dont care about the law no one is going too tell me what i can and cannot do too my car.

You don't care about the law, yet you're going to be careful driving. Yeah, I had an O/R pipe with my Stingers for a while. I never got pulled over it for it. Eventually I got tired of my ears ringing when I got home and put cats back on the car to quiet it down a little.

My only advice is don't toss the stock mid pipe. You'll need it every two years.

I have an o/r h pipe with borla mufflers. I have no idea which ones. It sounds great and I don't have any issues with cops. It is loud, but no issues. I agree with the others just hang on to you stock cats. It is easy to swap.
