Since that site incorrectly reports those of us stuck with v4.4 are "up-to-date," please confirm when SYNC v4.5 or greater (which Ford has had for months) will be available for download/install?
I gave up on this POS Sync system a long time ago. Maybe when Ford partners with Apple (like Government Motors did) instead of Micro Suck the damn thing will work. Until then, the best solution I have found is to get a 64G memory stick, load all your songs on that, insert it in the USB drive and play them. This appears to work most of the time as you enter and exit the vehicle--it will stay latched to USB and pick back up where it was when you shut the car off.

This is rich. Ignores all the inquiries about getting off 4.4 and then does this knowing that there is an issue.

It's not just the search function. That STUPID "I am not a robot" functionality just caused the loss of yet another detailed response I drafted to another member's questions about VMP Power Packs. I've lost count of the number of times I've simply given up and moved on to another forum rather than fight with it.
I am with you when it comes to the "I am not a robot" crap. It comes and goes and you never can figure out where or when it will strike. I've gotten into the habit of copying my response before clicking on any button, that way I at least don't have to retype it when I pass the test and get dumped to a blank page.
How hard can it be to fix these problems, none of the other forums I participate in have these problems? Now I am going to copy this post and hope for the best.
And nobody wonders why the activity level has dropped to almost nothing on this forum. Before long there won't be any activity and the forum will die a slow death
I watched on the news that there is a class action lawsuit against Ford for the problems that our sync is having.

EXCELLENT! I look forward to signing-on and, while I'm not usually one to root for legal action, I hope Ford gets taken to the cleaner on this. SYNC is the buggiest and least reliable system of this type I've ever used.
Do the 2010-14 Mustangs have MyTouch?
Sorry, but I think you're right. MyTouch and Sync are two different systems. My bad. If a class action lawsuit against Ford was successful because MyTouch was not working like it was suppose to, what's stopping us from doing the same because Sync is doing the same thing. Maybe the operating system is the same but they use two different names according to the car model where it was installed.

Simply stated, SYNC is a POS. I'm happy the forum's part-time Ford rep appears to have solved your problem, but there are a LOT of us who remain totally dissatisfied with the system's lack of reliability and (perhaps more importantly) the Ford reps year plus of unfulfilled promises that a fix is imminent. We don't like being LIED TO.
