Thanks man. It wasn't as sad as I probably made it seem. It's hard to get attached to a spider honestly. But voluntarily killing any pet sucks, especially this way...

One of two ways really. The very obvious way, or freeze him/her to death. I opted for the latter. At 50 degrees they shut down and go into a sort of hibernation mode. Eventually they become so cold/frozen they just don't wake up.

Spider or not, I tried to be humane about it.

Same with mine. I just remind her that they dont do anything wrong, they dont bother anyone. If anything, the kill all the other bugs that I do hate.
