update new upgrade for my 95 gt new trickflow 11r heads
Well I havent posted in a while, car has been the same for many years havent had the money$ or time to upgrade it much, just fixing issues coming up. I have been back and forth to do a blower or stroker, but I rather keep it all motor, well I finally saved some $ and bit the bullet, I've been eyeing trickflows new updated twisted wedge heads, the new 11r series, I bought a nice set of twisted wedge 190cc heads with 56c chambers, I currently have a set of the old trickflow tw 170cc heads, these should be a nice upgrade, the new heads seem to make about 30-50 hp across the board and average horsepower gain, I dont think it will be much peak horsepower gain being I already made 361rwhp out of my current n/a 306 setup. I had a set of stage 1 hand ported cleaned up 170cc heads with high rev valve springs. upgraded to these. otherwise the setup will stay the same. these heads on a stock 302 seem to make around 335-350rwhp. and a built motor 350-380rwhp. wish I had the $ to do a stroker. but the old 306 will have to do. (stroker setups are seeing around 400-450rwhp, these and the 205/225cc versions are seeing 500-650+hp on engine dynos so they are making some steam for all motor setups, But I know this is really slow compared to all these modern coyote cars and blown 03 cobras / shelbys and 500-1000+rwhp cars of today. lol
