I actually think I may have accidentally knocked my wheel out of center a little when I tried to remove the rack and pinion to replace my Front LCAs. I'm wondering if you could just straighten the wheels, disconnect the steering wheel shaft from rack and pinion, straighten the steering wheel and reconnect. I wasn't trying to fully disconnect - but I bet it's splined where it connects to the rack and pinion.
It's a D shape on that end. And it has an indention where the bolt passes through. That was the other thing I did. I adjusted my rack bushings so they're straight up and down.

It's not bad really to adjust the wheel. I marked my tie rods so I could count the turns. One has to be lengthened and the other shortened. Just make sure to go equal number of turns. It wouldn't hurt to double check the toe afterwards just to be safe.

Got my fan, radiator, and condenser moved forward to clear the F-1A, glad that's done. Next is routing coolant system and finishing the fuel lines from regulator to rails.

Spent some time last night wiring up sensors for my dual aeroforce setup. Still need to get the wide band wired up and load the tune. Ready to hear this car run. Been 2 years since i have ran it.

Glad to hear its progressing. Is Malcolm doing the tune?

No i actually went with another person a few of the local guys recommended to remote tune. We shall see how it goes. I also messaged 04sleeper but never got a response. All else if i am nit happy with the tune i will load the car up and tske itnto Malcolm to street tune it.

Decided I got tired of the "hum" through my stereo. Turned into one of those times where you just wonder WTF happened. I found one of the tabs that holds the cluster in was broken. JB Weld took care of that. I pulled something out of the dash. I think it's an antenna for navigation. It has an SMA connector on one end. And I found out the wires going to the woofers on the door are shorted to ground. On the driver side at least. I haven't dug into the passenger side yet. Once I connected the speaker to the plug for the tweeter it sounded awesome.

I need to get that done in my Roush Bob. My alignment is straight, but my steering wheel is off. When I'm driving straight my steering wheel is in the 1 o'clock position. Kind of annoying...........

I actually thought about just removing the steering wheel myslef and re-clocking it. Don't know how well that would workout though.
If you find a good place on the east side let me know. I was going to tire pros because they would let me drive the car on the rack but the last guy that did the alignment wouldn't do anything on the rears because he couldn't get his fat hand up there to adjust it.

I made my wife get out of the Terminator before we left the garage this afternoon.

She used to complain even just riding in the '92 Fox.
"YOU'RE GONNA TAKE THE TOP DOWN??!!
"WHAT ARE YOUR DOING?! YOUR TIRES ARE SQUEALING!!!!"
"SLOW DOWN!! YOU'RE GONNA GET A TICKET!!"

The Terminator scares her even worse. She got in today, started fighting with the seat belt, then got out and started fighting with the seat. I told her to close the door while she was standing beside the car. I got out. Locked it. Closed the garage. Went in the house to my office, got in the chair, and took a nap.

Took it out last night did a bunch of runs. Today I washed it. clay bared and waxed it... Yes it's time to put it away for the winter. Damn Minnesnowda.

Drove mine today. Met some fellow Cobro’s at Starbucks. Hoping to have a few more weeks in Ohio before I put it up for winter.

We just got a good cold front today to get rid of the humidity and temps into the 70's. It's just getting into driving season here. The summer is too brutal to cruise around with the windows down and enjoy the performance benefits of a cooler weather.

Thats some different routing! Are you mounting the reg there somehow?

I actually did. I used to be a ford diesel tech and had some bolts for the ford 6.0 valve covers that have the threaded studs on top. Bottom of bolt is the same exact size of the original valve cover bolts. Holds it nice and sturdy.

Took the car for a 70-80 mile cruise today. Trying to use up all the e85 in the tank. Next week it might be cleaned up and put away for the winter months that's getting closer.

I also seen the odometer hit 30k miles the other day. Lol, I was afraid it would happen this year. But I told myself I need to drive it more.

You must be from the south. This is your guys driving season lol. I hate putting it up for winter because I miss driving it. But salt and snow is nasty for them. It’s like a new car to me in the spring lol.

Shit man I drove mine less this year. I normally put 1k-1,200 miles on it a year. I think I about hit 600 miles for the year yesterday.

Man, you got that right Todd. My wife wanted to go for a ride in the Vert a couple months ago. I told her it was too hot outside to drive the car. She was like WTF? LMAO!!!!
