If you're like me its liberating to hit the 10,000 mile mark. I was avoiding driving mine because I didn't want to hit 10,000+. Once I passed that mile stone I began driving the car a lot more.

Actually you're right. After I hit it I felt kind of a sense of relief, among other emotions lol.

Fought with the passenger side manifold to midpipe nut so I could get my Bassani X on....and it won. Guess I get to pay someone to get a nut loose so I can put my $580 midpipe on.

I can't remember the name but there are tools that look like sockets with teeth inside. They work great on rounded nuts.

I'll have to look in to those. Gonna attempt it one more time after letting the PB Blaster sit on it all night...maybe tomorrow will bring more luck.

Thanks for the tip!

It would be cheaper to buy a small torch setup from harbor freight. You could probably even buy one of the little propane deals from Home Depot and get it off. Or switch between tightening and loosening until it breaks and just replace it.

Lol you guys in these super low mileage cobras. That's how I felt this year before hitting 30k.

The only thing that sucks about driving it more is the damn rock chips and such that seem to pop up.

Thank you to those that gave advice to get my H-Pipe to manifold nut off.

I finally ended up getting the SOB off this morning and installed my Bassani X without any real hiccups once that nut was off.
