Okay got the SM coupe completed. Owner asked for flat black fuel door, gloss black wheels, gloss black bumper letters, SVT HE stencil, tinted tails and for it to be lowered.

This one was fun since I got to do some things I normally don't.

What do you guys think?

In my quest to figure out what Maisto actually created, when it comes to the 2003 Cobra, I came across these two examples. One is a SY Vert which looks to be authentic because of the decals on the rear. The other is a boxed SY coupe with a wheels option. However, both have interiors with the grey inserts. I know the CO cars came with dark charcoal inserts. Did the yellow Cobra's come with both grey and dark charcoal inserts from the factory???

The dark(black) inserts were not an option until 2004. So if they would be a correct 03 model they would have to be grey or parch.

I really can't say enough, how impressed I am with the car or Glenn's abilities with these. Upon receipt, the car came packaged like it was from the factory. Unfortunately the military postal service and the cars trip to Italy wasn't too kind to it, and the car had a few minor nicks from being crushed down under other cargo. I told Glenn and though it was not at all his fault he offered to fix her up at no charge. An amazing product and person that stands behind the work. Thank you Glenn

Thank you for the VERY kind words Cody. Yeah, I was sorry to hear that the military postal system was man handling your package (LMAO, that didn't sound right).

Anyway, you did a great job mending her up. It looks really good in the pictures. I appreciate you providing feedback and letting everyone know what happened. Although the car was sent half way around the world it still should have arrived in pristine condition. But, like I said, you did great and by the pictures you would never know it was damaged in transit.

Thanks for your service brother and when you make it back to the states, my offer to rebuild her still stands!!!

Thanks Bob. I did know there were 2 different yellow's like there are 2 different silvers. I was curious about the interior inserts. I know SY in 04 came with dark inserts, but was wondering if ZY in 03 had gray inserts.

Since jrichber said dark inserts came out in 04 I have to assume that 03 ZY had the grey inserts like the diecast car pictured above.

It's funny too because in the pictures the 03 diecast looks like SY and not ZY.
