The difference being that the Trackhawk could run that 11.6 on an un-prepped surface

FCA advertised 11.6 sec. is at the track using launch control, so where did you get your information that the trackhawk could run "11.6 on an un-prepped surface"?

Road and Track could not match that 11.6 time. Out of 3 runs, the best they could do was 11.899 1/4 mile at the track using launch control:

The best Hennessey could run was 12 sec. 1/4 mile with the Trackhawk:

The Hellcat on the other hand can run consistent 11.3-11.6 sec. 1/4 mile on unprepped street surface with nothing more than a decent pair of drag radials. Ask me how I know.

So either the Jeep ran faster than 11.6, or the Hellcat didn’t run consistent 11.3-11.6.... OR the Jeeps AWD made up for the power difference for that particular prep, which was the point you originally missed.

So you’re saying a modded Hellcat Challenger can outrun a stock Trackhawk?

I don’t think anyone would argue that point.

Seems about right for a street-style run (no burnout, stock tires, etc). The Hellcat really struggles to put all that power to use off the line. Never did a stock street car benefit so much from a pair of DRs...

No, I am saying a stock Hellcat running drag radials can out run a stock Trackhawk running drag radials, whether it is on the street or on the track. :D
