Take a look at this beauty on the way from Australia:

https://www.facebook.com/xclutchperformance/posts/523112814734926

Triple disc organic from XClutch, custom spec for my car and hopefully filling a void for many GT500s looking for a clutch to hold big power while allowing some slip, improving street drivability and drag strip launching.

XClutch is the new American arm of Australian Clutch Service's Xtreme Performance Clutch. I was put in contact through a good friend while we at PRI. They have a great rep down under, and based on the service and willingness to design a custom setup and then delivering a fully complete kit very quickly; I feel confident in the product already. We took many measurements off my car, including both Tremec Magnum XL and stock TR6060 trans.
I will be taking pics during install and they are willing to consider a group buy if you guys are interested.
Sorry for the Facebook link, but if anyone can post pics from Facebook, please do.
As you can see they make fully comprehensive kits, including the flywheel, ARP flywheel bolts, pilot bushing, slave cylinder--SS reusable clutch alignment tool looks sweet too.
Let me know what you guys think, the clutch should be here next week.

Thanks Josh. I agree she looks great! Better than I was expecting.
And no sponsor or anything, but they did give a discount and hoping other GT500 guys are interested. Group buy willing too.

That clutch looks nice J, hope it works as intended for you. I'm afraid to ask what they puppy costs landing in the US.

Looks great. Very interested in your experience/feedback on performance both on the strip and on the street. If all positive then would be interested in GP

Price was VERY reasonable. I'm sure I'm getting a buddy deal as my buddy who connected me to them is interviewing with XClutch but still, VERY good for the quality I saw at PRI and in these pics.
Unfortunately I won't have much feedback on performance until spring. Usually don't get the car out of garage til April.
I will have install pics soon.

Does this clutch have solid hubs on all 3 discs?

The organic disc material will be forgiving and may allow for a solid hub with street driving. I'll be interested to see what you think of it.

Great question, I do believe they said solid due to the power levels, but the clutch is scheduled to be here this week so we will see.
You are correct on the organic material for street/strip driving benefits, but also I believe why they went with a triple disc design.

Did they give you a torque rating?

It isn't about how much Hp the clutch will handle, it is all about the torque output of the engine that it will handle.

If they are claiming a 1200lb-ft or higher torque rating then this will be a nice clutch for the street. With a 3 disc clutch, the extra disc raises the torque capacity of the clutch assembly by 50% for the same pressure plate load over a twin disc with the same friction materials.

Correct I believe the 2-disc was 900lbft so I’m guessing 1350lbft. It will have paper work and specs with it.
They want to have fully complete kits and this includes ARP flywheel bolts.
FW is chromoly vs my Spec aluminum which may actually help street/launch on this 4000# beast. I’m expecting about 1100lbft with the next blower.

The problem with going with more discs is the room in the bellhousing is limited in width and depth. Normally as you increases the number of discs you have to reduce the diameter of them to gain room to fit them in the slope of the bellhousing as it goes towards the transmission.

Xclutch reduced the diameter of this 3 disc to 230mm(9.055") from 270mm(10.6") of the twin disc listed on the website for our cars. The 270mm twin disc has a 960lb-ft rating. I would expect with the addition of 1 disc and the reduction in diameter of the discs that this new clutch is going to be around 1200lb-ft rating.

https://www.xclutchusa.com/catalogue/online-catalogue

Going to a 4 disc would have probably reduced the diameter to a 8" disc to fit it in the bellhousing, along with a custom Throwout Bearing assembly.
