Do they just slide into the system like the mufflers? Or are yours welded in?

Oh I wish lol. One side slid into my MRT h-pipe no problem and can be clamped. The tailpipe side ends up being a butt joint that i have secured with band clamps. I will have it welded once the weather turns nicer.

I know the normal the way the magnaflow system comes the mufflers can come out since they band clamp in place. I was wondering if the magnapacks just slid in as a replacement because I wanted to swap the quieter mufflers from time to time.

That was my plan as well. My mid pipe slides right into the magnapack and can be clamped but the tailpipe side is the exact same size as the magnapack so it's a butt joint. I could've rented the pipe expander from autozone but I just used a band clamp. It was tight but it works without leaks.

With that being said I love the sound of the magnapacks so much im just going to have it welded. It's not stupid loud just a different more aggressive tone really.

Finally got around to ordering the Lethal Performance Throwout Bearing Retainer Sleeve & Ford Performance Heavy Duty Throw Out Bearing. My TOB just started to chirp before I parked her for the winter last year so that’s the first thing on the list when it comes out of hibernation.

Changed out my steering rack for a A1 Cardone steering rack rebuild. Got a NJ rack; this thing turns from lock to lock quick as hell now.
Also did my brakes; saw good stuff from the corvette guys and the new duralast GT brake pads. Went from Hawk HPS pads and these new pads bite just as hard; maybe even harder. They are a carbon brake pad and have lifetime warranty.
