Didn't see it. Haven't really been following any of the Marvel movies. Sounds like it was really good though- might see if the wife wants to start back in '08 and watch the movies all the way through. Would be cool to put a TV in the garage so I can multi-task

Think about this, Dr Strange gave Thanos the stone because he saw all the possible outcomes. Out of all the million outcomes....only 1 worked out in there favor, that's why he gave hime the stone. He told Tony "it was the only way".

I'm over all these silly super hero moves, there's way too many any more.

I'll take a good war story like Fury or Saving Private Ryan any day over super hero crap.

Edit - Punisher movies I do enjoy, as they are more down to earth.
I actually wore my Punisher shirt to go see it. I got a few compliments. Hah

I cant stand war movies any more after watching the last Nolan movie I walked out doing this!

Give me a TV series like Westwood, Billions, Silicon Valley, American Gods and GOT. TV series are much more appealing then movies to me these days. Call me crazy...

The movie was freaking incredible. I do not see how they could have topped it in any way, shape or form. From the first death to the last, it was an emotional rollercoaster. I'm super glad nobody on FB got a chance to spoil it for me. The last 10min were me in the seat with my jaw open. They managed to pull off one of the biggest franchise events of possibly all time, merging different character groups almost effortlessly.

Even Thanos' character development was well written, and at times you almost side with his intentions. The quick line in the end "And what did it cost you?", "Everything" was perfect. He didnt feel like your typical one-and-done villain.

They gave you the most realistic superhero movie yet, the one where the good guys dont win the day, where they all get to go back and deal with the ramifications of their failure. I forsee a bunch of parents having to have that hard conversation with their kids on what failure is and how to move forward, which is probably good.

I know some think the deaths aren't as substantial knowing the MCU planned movies, but that's stuff only really avid fans tend to know. The majority of the populace will leave the theatre thinking they are all gone.

I'm kinda confused about the whole axe to the heart thing....is he dead and in Marvel heaven? Or did he somehow survive Thors axe to the heart?!

Spoiler

It looked like there was another gauntlet, or at least mold, where Thor got stormbreaker

Im just referring to one of the avengers being able to use it, with strange gone theres no other heroes that have used it. Im thinking someone else is going to wield the gauntlet.

Iron man, ultimate hulk, spiderman, captain America, black panther have all wielded the gauntlet in the comics.

I don't think he's dead, because he was "sitting back and enjoying a sunset" or whatever the line was, now that he's done. I think we're just supposed to chalk that up to "because infinity gauntlet" haha.

He's not dead. The stones saved his ass. That's why he told Thor, "you should have gone for the head."

I was thinking he said that only because he was still able to snap his fingers. I look too much into things lol

Hoping to get out and watch it some time this week. Would it help to watch Black Panther first, or can that one be skipped?
I guess, if you have no idea what Wakanda is, or who the black panther is. I don't think it's necessary.
