That isn't retirement.

However, my part time job would be something I enjoy. It would more than likely be part of a hobby I am already into.

If you enjoy what you do, it isn't work.

Born and raised Brockton. Living in Naples.
So I’m thinking that I’ll be semi retiring at the end of this year.
I’ll be in my 40’s.
Long story short. I worked in a small family business that was owned by my father. I’ve worked there in some capacity since I was 16.
The plan was always for me to eventually take the business over but when it came down to the details I decided I didn’t want it. Industry changed too much, wife makes a fortune and I didn’t want to spend my life married to a job I didn’t love anymore so we sold it for a hefty sum of monies. Dad is set for life at 73.

I still work here in the same capacity I used to but it’s just time to move on. That is it. Nothing more nothing less.

And we never had kids.

Looking to work 20-25 hours a week and will take about 25k to make me happy. That’s the story.

This is something I’ve seriously thought about.

Only problem is that my area and home gym are in such a depressed location that most can’t afford it. I’m still looking into the certifications that I would need though.
I see you as a CT Fletcher type in the gym. People need that kind of motivation
