So my question is can the 15% lower fit on a 14gt500 and if it can how much trouble is it? Am I better of going with 10% lower? both lowers would be used with a 2.4 upper

Do you have track pack ?
10 percent fits with the crank sensor tab trimmed down.
15 percent of you have track pack requires crank sensor tab trimmed and also oil cooler fitting modified

So would be just better to run the 10% and yes I do have the track pack. Is it that bad of a job to modify the oil cooler fitting

I have a 10% on mine you have to cut the fitting and re weld it to a different angle to clear the 15% pulley

You are 100% on track pack?
Many have Performance pack but not all are track pack.
You can tell by extra cooler visible in grill and on diff cover.
If you have a track pack car just go 10%.
My car is Performance pack not track pack and 15% with stock 2.6 got me 755rwhp on a ported stock blower.
10% with 2.4 is basically the same.
I made 965rwhp with a 15%\2.5 on a ported 2R
I have some good parts left PM me.

What Manny said. Hope you’re running E85

Agreed. You better be running some good fuel for that 15%. IMO, even a 2.4 and a 10% is too much for pump gas.

I was running a 2.5/10% during my last dyno session. Boost peaked at 19lbs with cams, a ported lower intake manifold, and LTs/no cats....all mods that will help lower boost psi. I ended up putting the stock upper back on since we’re limited to 93 octane around here.

I'm doing ATI 10%...………...don't want to get into dealing with oil fitting modding crap since I have TP.

I went 10% but I'll be swapping out for a stock OD. I figure with my 4.9 KB the 10% may be a wee bit too much pulley to keep it at a sane boost level lol. Once I get my stock OD one in, I'll have my 10% up for sale, brand new 0 miles lol.

I ran 93 and E85 tune ups with that combo for 2 years. I only raced on E85 and my 93 tune up I had very very low timinfmg and always ran real octane booster.

Just people trying to help.
Many experienced guys here and while giving you the answers you needed, we tend to try and help as much as possible.
What fuel are you running?
Very relevant as it's the biggest consideration when upping boost on our cars.

I’m going to run e85 more worried about too much boost but at my altitude I think will be fine

If you've got the octane there's never too much boost.
There is a point of diminishing returns by overspinning a small blower but as above, start with an IW 10% and 2.4 upper and don't be shy with timing. E85 loves it.
How do you race the car--drag, roll, etc?
