****ing nice man!! What year and how many miles? The clutch probably needs new fluid. Use a syringe to take out the dirty fluid and add new fluid but I’ll take a couple cycles to get it all clean and the clutch should feel better
that's what I shall do. It's a 01 , 47k miles. Red interior.

I LOVE this car. Reminds me of the Viper a little. Not AS violent but still raw. For stock it gets up and moves. I am REAL comfortable in int, and I'm 6 foot. I can't believe how quiet it is. I need exhaust ASAP haha. The clutch feels.....weird. Not sure ....it just feels weird ...but it doesn't slip or anything. The tires are old so it needs new rubber. Also I need a touch screen stereo lol. So far I love it ! Should be a good time.
Hell yeah!

The FIRST thing you need to do is change the valve springs. Do not wait. If you drop one:

03Snake is right, the tick is a must as well, but not before the valve springs.

Goddamnit, now im really thinking about a C5Z again....

That’s awesome man. One thing the 01s have that I like over the 02-04s is the wheels are a darker grey and they’re Alcoa’s vs the speed lines on the 02-04s.
ya bro to be honest im not a huge fan of the wheels :/

Lol not needed with c5z/c6z ownership. Congrats! I've owned 2 c5z's myself and they are a ball. It took pullied cobras to get past me when I had mine.
it seems as fast as my old pullied cobra. I think a little 100 shot would be fun =)

checked out the clutch cylinder today, it appears new(er). The fluid was pretty black. I cycled it out 4 times w/ new fluid and drove it, and then drained it again. Seems to be doing a little better.

keep changing after every few drives, there is still a lot of old fluid in the slave and line etc...it should improve some, though ultimately a tick master is your best option
