Any belong to members here? Surprised to see several for sale already...wonder if it is a sign of the job market. Not that they are listed like they need to sell with the asking prices lol

A bunch of retards near me have had 500’s for sale for months. I’m sure they’re probably wondering why no one will buy them for 100k+.

Once my '66 Corvette sells, should be plenty of deals out there on new. I think those dudes are going to get their arses handed to them on the used ones.

Apparently an automatic transmission and a 2.65L blower makes this car worth over 100k. Take out the back seat and its worth 120k. Seems like people have lost their minds.
I know its crazy. Ive been shopping for a new 500 and dealers act like $10k over is some steal of a deal, these cars are great but anything over msrp and you might as well burn that money cause you'll never see it again. There hasn't been a modern Shelby that has appreciated.

I think it is a mix of people that bought them that couldn't comfortably swing the payment and thought they were gonna flip them for big $$$ or just general people that bought them to store thinking they were gonna make money on them.
They really should have asked the guys that have been storing their 07's in barns since new how much money they made on that logic. lol
Either way, apparently I am the dumb one because I cannot afford to gamble on something like that while they can. I need to figure life out I guess. lol

It is the third RSD I've done now. FP no longer offers it but you can piece it together through your parts department. Sadly, Ford saw fit to ask triple the price that FP did just a short time ago. They are trying hard to discourage its purchase.

As an enthusiast and Ford "supporter" it leaves a bitter taste.

It retailed from FP for around $1,000 before the part was removed from their shelves. Here's the best you can do today. Note the list price...

Even at $1,900, that is over $1,000 more than what I paid in 2016 for the exact same part from a FP warehouse distributor (Buyfordracing). You now have two Mustangs using the part, either the GT350R or the CFTP GT500. Economies of scale usually bring the price down. Not in Ford's world apparently.

Damn, I didn't realize the rear seat delete was going for that much. I'm glad I kept mine from when I installed the backseat in my R

.
...................Seems in line with other Ford prices:
10K for painted stripes
18.5K for the CFTP

I would love to see those $10k painted stripes in person, I'm going to imagine the quality is on par with some of Ford's other offerings which is severely lacking for the price
