I’m looking for a heavily modified cobra, preferably 04 unless your 03 has 9 thread heads. Motor must be fully built, would prefer a twin turbo car but can work with a blower as long as the car is 1000+whp or close. Needs to have A/C, heat and be able to be driven on the street. Send me what you have? Thank you.

I do have cash in hand so we don’t have to go through a financing process. Will travel for the right car. Will need compression and leak down tests done before purchase. I will also fly out to see the car in person before we reach a deal.

I looked at that and contacted the owner. Car makes 800rwhp and can only make 1200 crank horsepower with the turbo setup. Nice car and tons of money spent but the turbo would have to be changed.
Thank you for posting

It makes 800rw through the TH400 on a mustang dyno? I think this would equate to much more through a 6 speed on another dyno. It seems priced pretty well. I’d give it some serious thought!

I’m ok with the TH400. I know guys run a lot of power through the six speeds but I believe a Th400 is cheaper and ultimately more reliable. The turbo is limited to 1200hp. Doesn’t have heat or AC but it can be hooked back up. Paying 30k and then having to change the turbo out and buy all of the heating and AC components will get expensive. I’d be in the 28k range for turn key with AC and Heat. Id also change from the CO2 setup and put an air compressor in the trunk

that being said, this car is a great buy and build. Looks well taken care of.

Just a quick FYI- he has come down to 28.5. That car was for sale last fall/winter for I believe the same price. Either way, I understand- you have to draw the line somewhere. My biggest issue with that one would be not having OD. Depending on what you do with it, this may or may not be an issue. Also, I’m not sure how set you are on an 03/04, but you may want to consider a sleeved coyote. Either way, I’ll keep an eye out for you.

I just started looking at coyotes today. Seems like they make power a lot easier than the terminators. I have a 97 cobra and a 2001 vert cobra, I was considering building my 97 but to be honest, I can buy a turn key 1000+ rwhp mustang for almost half of the cost. I was going with sleeping my block, stroking to 5.0, hellion twin turbo kit with precision gen 2 64mm turbos, th400 with a gear venders OD, strange rearend with 35 spline axles, Holley dominator system and keeping my AC, heat, and all of the features the car came with. Some of these cars have all of that for half the cost and I don’t have to cut my 40k mike car up.

Yes, there are many advantages to a coyote over the older cars. At the power level you are wanting, you will need a sleeved block, so keep that in mind. Unfortunately they probably won’t hold their value like a nice 03/04 will. Regardless, can save more like 75% buying a car already done vs having it done yourself.

Coyote all the way, it is not even a debate.
