I bought it from a butcher that does dry-aging in house. My wife and I took our daughter to an aquarium in Mystic, CT and a friend told me about this place. I'd drive the 40 minutes just to get another steak from them.

You buy expensive pizza? ;)
The Jet's Pizza here is in a strip mall that looks like shit in the 1980's and has gone down hill from there, but their pizza is good.

Higher end would be ordering from Lou Malnati's or Gino East and have it shipped to my house.

When I was running a Lincoln Mercury dealer in Royal Oak in the 80's, I'd send a porter over to the original location in Sterling Heights and get 3 for the workers on Thursday or Monday nights. That was the best. I moved to Florida in the late 80's and there was nothing close Jet's down there. That and not a Coney Island to be found. There are now a few Jet's franchises in Florida - Sarasota and Apopka. I would drive for a half hour to get a Jet's occasionally. Anyway, I still rate them at the top of deep dish pies. I'm now about a mile and a half from one. Never disappointed.

Just started pork ribs and sausage links in the slow cooker. I'll brown 'em off under the broiler when they're done in about six hours. Got some good potato salad too. Also gambled and bought a six-pack of something called Not Your Father's Root Beer. It's supposed to taste like regular root beer except each bottle is 5.9% ABV.

I forgot about that drink. Might have to track it down when I go shopping tomorrow. It's pretty good stuff.
