in his 1990 Skyline GT R.

Incredibly nice and well taken care of. About 29k miles on it, and looks brand new.

Because of our import laws in Canada we had cars like this 10 plus years ago. They were plentyfull and cheap. Supras, R32-33's, Pulsar Gtir, Silvia Spec R, you name it. But now that the market has opened up to the US the prices have gone crazy.

Although I've seen plenty of RHD cars I still do a double take when I see the driver on the wrong side.

So how does that work? Could I import an R34 to Canada now, then once its established registered, could I import it to the USA? Or would it still fall under the 25 year law?

15 years in Canada vs 25 USA, so you would still have to wait.

But if you really want to buy one I'll keep in my garage until you can import it;)

Buddy of mine bought that exact car in MINT shape for about $7000 8 years ago lol. What are they worth now?

In mint shape you could expect to pay 40-50k or more for a GT-R. Usually the ones I see for sale have over 100,000km or 60,000miles.

Non GT-R's go for significantly less.

Nice GTIR. They only made them for 4 years I believe. A beat up one will go for 10k up here.
He actually bought 2, turned them into one good driver. Sold the parts car for more than he had in it, then drove the good one for a few months before he got an offer he couldn't refuse and sold it as well. Fun little car for sure.

They're a pretty common site around here. A guy on RT.22 in Jersey has 5 of them sitting outside his shop. Neat cars but let me know when the R34's start pouring in. A place by me imports all these JDM cars. I'd like Kei truck with a plow.
Link below for shop.

This guy bought it off of BAT last summer. Gave $56,500 for it.

So the owner stopped by just to show it to you? That's a pretty rare gem in the condition it's in and the very low mileage.
