Nick what is the the approximate time from ordering a 2022 Super Duty to delivery? I know you can't give me a definite time especially given current conditions.
I'm not 100% sold on it, BUT they are incredibly impressive to drive.Hey Nick, what’s the low down on the power boost truck? @13COBRA
The Japanese tend to have much better relations with their suppliers via long term contracts and financial stakes. Ford usually ranks dead last with their relations with suppliers.FWIW Toyota diversified their chip supply base after the typhoon situation knocked them out cold a few years ago. Their production has not been as chip-limited as everybody else's and they're going to have WAY more vehicles available than any of the domestics will in Q3 and Q4.
I'm about to crack 13k on mine. The power is dope, the ride is better than previous gen, lots of cool things that make it nice but in my line of work stop and go to different pivots, shops, etc the trans interface with the electric motor is sometimes like a bucking bronco. Honestly it's kinda driving me crazy. The braking interface is driving me crazy too like when it switches from engine braking to electric brake to generate power for the battery. You have to apply much more brake force than is normally necessary and on dirt roads sometimes that means the ABS kicks in when it doesn't need to. It's weird and it's got worse as the miles grow. The gear shifter is weird and the auto running boards are so slow that I have to calibrate my life around them lol. The big screen is pretty nice but when listening to sirius and using the manual tune knob it shows you the station you're on instead of the song info which is stupid. The adaptive cruise pisses me off along with the anti collision warning that is overbearing. I didn't want trailer backup assist but it had to come with that package. The seats are dope, the steering is effortless, it puts 2 lengths on a 5star tuned 2018 3.5EB with ease, the 360 cameras are nice. Then you have a center console that's difficult to open with the button centered under the arm rest and it likes to fall down half way making it difficult to get things out sometimes. Bed lighting is great, super light tailgate. Tows better than my 18 did, it doesn't squat like that one did. The reverse auto brake is stupid if you don't have the trailer plugged in, it stops you every 3 feet because it thinks you're going to hit your own trailer. I haven't got to use the generator yet but I imagine guys that do will find it nice. At speeds under 30, the electric motor is so much nicer than the gas. I reverse alot and it's a pain when backing up at 20mph and the gas motor kicks in at high RPM when it doesn't even need to. The truck must know when you're in a city/town because it uses the electric motor much more and it's nice and smooth. It's nice to pull up to a field and let the truck run in electric and still have AC/heat. The Auto 4wd is very nice and you can actually do a full turn without it jerking. Cabin is much quiet and better sealed, so much so that if you're in the dust and open the door, the dust actually rushes in the truck which is kinda gay.Hey Nick, what’s the low down on the power boost truck? @13COBRA

I got it for the power and the possible need for a generator to that part is good but I wish ford had an update for the transmission interface. The downshifts to electric braking are an issue for me. Maybe not for others not in my line of work but for me it pisses me off. My 18 didn't act like this. And the god damn humming noise at slow speeds is either a turn on or off for you but I don't think I like it.
Overall, solid truck. If you use can use onboard power in your job then it's dope. If you just want the power it's got it in spades. The rest will be subjective to each individual owner. This is just my penny worth. All this said, I reserved a Lightning because the electric driving is nicer than the gas.
A member on here ordered his on 4/5/2021, his is being built on 8/16/2021.
@JJackson515 ordered his on 4/22/2021 and isn't scheduled yet.
It has to do with commodity constraints on options and stuff. I would guess 5 months or so.

tell them to hurry. I need to get out of my shitty cummins.

I'm calling the top, over the next 6 months there will be new/used price inversion.
18 months until we're back to our regularly scheduled program.
The dealer my Tremor came from told me they got 7 SuperDutys in Thursday, all were sold by Saturday morning. Sales people fighting over them.
