Definitely wasn't expecting this big jump today.
The positioning is just too bearish, vix is too high, this all unwinds higher after the mega caps report next week.

They would have to almost all get knee capped 10-15% down to hold these current low levels.

Folks will look back like damn 3600 was a no Brainer.
Shout out to @weatherman for nailing the bottom.

We'll see, I like my position right now. A lot of ugly coming out of the EU this winter.

Jaime Diamond says recession sets in mid 23’.

Bezos is saying the same.

I’ve been tempted to move my 401k back to S&P and Dow tracking funds @3600 because it keeps bouncing off it but I still don’t think the pain has hit. Still leftover free money floating around keeping revenues up.

@jvandy50

I'm not holding leveraged positions right now.
I think we could be in choppy sideways messy bottoming action for quite awhile and with VOL so high the decay rate on them 3x etfs is too risky for me right now.

Also dow and spy still seem to be outperforming tech.

Any of you hear of AST Spacemobile? Have a position in the company and it could be interesting if they execute.

Guys writing articles on SA love it.

Yeah they certainly do. It’s definitely an ambitious project but if they pull it off there could be a serious upside. It’s also a long play so being impatient could drive someone crazy. I’ve got about 12k shares but still treading water in the green. So we shall see how things play out.

Riding calls, SOXL, and FNGU into tomorrow where I will probably look to unload most of it. Might hold into Wednesday if it looks favorable but no later than that. I think we see a dip Thursday at the latest with PCE index reporting on Friday. It’s a coin toss after that I think. Once the volatility settles a bit after the PCE report I am thinking mostly green till midterms.

The semiconductor equipment co's are getting back in favor, finally. FSELX is a good way to have a reasonably diversified stake in the semi industry. Some individual leaders are ASML, AMAT, KLAC, and LRCX.

Sold most of my calls and my FNGU around the SPY 383-384 level. Sold the rest right around 385. Scaled into SPY puts a little bit between 383-385. I was hoping to add some more tomorrow for a late Wednesday/Thursday pullback, looks like the Google earnings might have beat me to it though.

I think we see a dovish FOMC meeting next week though which could give a nice green week, conveniently, right into midterms.
