Before I make the investment gonna try and see if I can teach myself to tune/ make adjustments with the MOTEC 150 PNP myself. Anyone else interested??? Watch introductory webinars on M1 Tune software via YouTube

Thanks for posting those. I’ll give them a watch although I’m probably going Holley and Holley dash.
This may still be viable. You can test it locally on a lowly non-SS :)

Lowly Non SS.....Funny @biminiLX I figure..... if im thinking of going that route i my as well learn to make adjustments on my own or tune myself. I hate to make a investment that big and have to rely on others to use it. Im thinkin Holley would probably be your best route.....agree. But this motec setup should be given some serious consideration.

Install me and tune Johnson tuning I bought everything through him he’s they guy that does all tuning for Fathouse
Saw a video he did with Fathouse. Dude sounds like he's really knowledgeable about the Motec ECU tuning. Gonna be a nice addition for the GT500 with that Whipple.....congrats man.

Have you gotten any farther with these 2 projects with the MoTec ECU?

I'm particularly interested in the 13 with the boost controlled by the ECU? Also on this car are you using the KB 168mm mono throttle body or the dual 75mm TB?

Yea it’s the 168mm the 13 is almost finished it’s driving around braking the engine in before strapping it on the dyno , the 21 I got the motec and just got the 3.8 blower after a 20 week wait so I’m gonna be installing that and getting everything going in that project

I'll be interested in what you think of the boost control modifications once you get to drive it. Did you do the Flex Fuel sensor with the ability to allow variances for ethanol content of the fuel in the programming?

Yes it’s full flex fuel from 91 octane to e85to race fuel so you add whatever fuel your gonna use and the m150 ecu handles the adjustment automatically

I was hoping you were doing this with the MoTec. It is something I'd love to do, along with the wastegate for boost control. Did you have Shawn add traction control also?

As far as fuel is concerned with your set up I believe all you need to do is alter timing tables for the best power when you're running any type of race E85. I was looking at Ignite Red 114, which is actually E90 with a higher octane rating than most of the E85 race blends. Pump E85 varies so much in ethanol content, which alters the octane rating so much that you have to set up the tune conservatively. I'm sure Shawn will be able to advise you on the timing table changes needed for max power on Race E85. Hell I'm sure he could set up your laptop with a different file for Race E85 versus pump E85 for when you go to a race.
