or call them and ask for Sam....tell him Ed with the 98 yellow Cobra told you to call.

He'll hook you up for a factory one.

I'd find one on Ebay personally....:D

Dallas Mustang sells them, to the tune of $412 though.

I checked a few of the other typical websites and didn't find any of them selling the bumper.

The next place I'd check would be a Ford dealership.

No Cobra bumper on a GT please! Purist here...
listen, i owned a 98 cobra previously, and im putting a full cobra R body kit on it also. So the rear bumper just makes it look better. Also im building a dart blocked 347 turbo engine for it so ill do the cobra name proud. and this is what itll look like except with y2k cobra r 18's chromies:

Seeing as how the Cobra and GT bumpers are identical other than the lettering imprinted, how does the Cobra bumper "look better"? It's your car so I'm not trying to dog on you, just wondering.

dude seriously, **** you. I dont care what the **** you think about my car, I didnt ask anyones opinion I was asking where to purchase something. a cobra bumper would just flow better with a "cobra R" body kit jackass. seriously stay the **** outta my thread. and btw what do you drive to be so high and mighty with your opinion????

For what it's worth... I couldn't give a damn if you put a civic bumper on your car. A turbo 347ci, you're going to eat alive so many cars on the road.

It's not like it's some slow ass V6 guys. This car will smoke close to any Cobra in this section...

Who cares?

If you looked under my name you would see what I drive. Guess what, its real. Funny how integras get bashed for type R stickers but its ok for a domestic guy to do it? Same thing.

Guess I got luckier than I thought, I paid 200 bucks to rescue a local one off a stock broken 4.6 GT. Turns out it was a red '97 Cobra it came off of :)

I have no problem seeing Cobra stuff on a built GT as long as you don't claim it to be a real Cobra and you don't put your snakes on backwards!

lmao, ok I'm an american Ricer.... would you like to compare 1/4 mile times to this "ricer"?? I didn't think so . Ill give you a short breakdown of the complete motor setup:
Dart man-o-war block stroked to 347
AFR 225cc heads (stg 2 Port n polished)
custom grind turbo cam (comp)
JE pistons 9:0:1
Manley forged aluminum rods
Lunati billet crank
PTK "street dominator" turbo kit with Garret T-76 GTS upgrade 3.5 air-air IC and Ceramic hot parts
full aeromotive fuel system
Viper spec T-56 Tranny
thinkin bout adding my TNT direct port kit.... just for a little better 60ft. :-D but its a pain in the ass to do so well see

still wanna talk junk? dyno #'s coming real soon! hoping for 1000rwhp+ on 30psi

what needs to be repaired? im getting it painted anyways so id like to see a pic or 2 first. thanks!

and as for the adding cobra parts to a GT, well the only thing thatll be stock from the gt when im finished is the dash and carpet. so would you still call it a gt? I'd like to think of it as a custom mustang. Kinda like the whole Roush and saleen deal. they both have GT motors, but do you call them a GT????

I don't care what you do to it, it sounds like it will be mean as hell BUT. People are stating opinions, leave the name calling for smackdown.
