If money was no issue, would you throw a manual in your Marauder? If I could I would do it before a blower, that is the one thing that I really really wish this car had from the factory.

Automatic is much more consistant than standard shift. Yes there is some HP loss through the trans, but not enough to make me want to switch up.

Being my daily driver, and in traffic from time to time, automatic for me. Money no object, maybe that little slap shifter unit available in the Lincoln would be cool. Still, most of us here are no match to a good auto when it comes to shifting.

I own both.
I'm 51. I'd kick an auto out of bed in a minute.
Personal pref
I'd like to drive a M with a T-56, but I just don't know. Now a T-56 in a MkVIII LSC?
Hmmm

I love the five speed in my Super Coupe..............wish Marauders had a five or six speed. Automatics are boring.

I sometimes wish I had a 5-speed stick in my '03. I have to admit, though, the automatic shifts pretty well, much better than the CVPIs I drive at work. They are slush boxes with sloppy shifts. The MM is much firmer and more positive without being harsh.

I do wish they would bring back the Marauder with the Mustang GT drivetrain (300hp/320 lb.ft., 4.6L 3V sohc V8 & 5 spd auto) or that of the Expedition/Navagator (300hp/365lb.ft., 5.4L 3V sohc V8 & 6 spd auto). The steeper first gears on those two trannies would help launch this big car better. The 3V sohc design would keep costs down, although the more modern transmission would eat up a bit of the savings.
