the cone is stoked's orange cobra. Why would you want to buy that, you yourself told me never buy anything from Matt because he races everything at the drop of a hat. If you buy that you are going to end up going through the exact same thing you are going through now. Steve if you don't want to spend the money to fix the 93 then why would you get yourself into a car payment with a kid on its way. Don't forget you still need to get your wife a diffenent vehicle.

Eh, The Cone has been sitting more then anything. The only thing that bothers me about Matt's cars is when he sells them he prices them their weight in gold.

There would be no car payment because both Mach and Cobra are being sold.

And why do I need to buy my another car? She has the Camry.

He'll probably want too much for it anways and the 93 will just end up sitting there takin up space.

Terminators just seem to make more sense to me now. Newer car, already have built motors, superchargers, 6 speed, slam it with a nice set of wheels and you got a badass cruiser that's fun to drive. Also, let's not forget what a complete PITA it is to get my car inspected every year. There is no hassle with Terminators on that. Tuning is a joke on Terminators, open a laptop and it takes 15 minutes. Let's not even get started with tuning on a FOX.

i would sell the cobra. buy a nice used suv (from me) for like 10k. spend the rest on putting a vortech on the mach so you still have a toy, and the wife will still be happy because she still has "her" car.

Get it if the price is right.

Thats the thing... I text him when he caught me off guard, everything is for sale, but I am not giving it away, good friend or not... I have no need to...

I just got approved for a fat 0% interest credit card. Quick Math shows it will save me about 100-150 a month in interest a month, which will cover my loan payment for my 86...

I still am about a g a month liquid (in the plus) regardless of both car payments, loan payment, CC payments, and insurance on the stable...

If I was more broke, I'd sell it at market... I love the car, it runs perfect, and I have no desire to sell it now or ever at this point... I shot him a price on dfw, if he wants it, it will be (worth its weight in gold) as he says...

I turned down 28K a couple months ago with the Rs on it... I would want to sell it with the HREs, but I could sell it with no rims too. (want to keep my Rs for the 86).

I think yo should keep the 93 Steve... personally...

Well cancel that idea. Matt wants 35k for his car, it's nice but I could get a turbo Termy or a seriously modded C5 Z06 for that.

with the HREs... I wont sell my Cobra Rs, so make me a counter with your own tires/wheels?

Does that come with a reach-around?

you guys crack me up... I turned down 28 grand... The rims and tires cost 10 grand... granted the tires aren't new, so take a couple grand off and he's still getting a deal...

again, when shit isn't for sale, the price is higher than market...

It's all good. I don't blame ya for not wanting to sell it. I'm in no rush, I'll find something eventually. The 93 can sit there for all I care. I have no interest in messing with it anymore.

I know, but I've seen Terminators in the low 20K price range. Given yours is a rare color (and I assume lowish miles), even with the wheels, I still don't see it being worth that much. But I'm not looking to buy, so my opinion is of little value. :)

exactly... you are looking at beat down, ugly ass black/silver/red/white 03s... Orange low mileage Cobras are in the 26-27 range all day... I was offered 28K in August, and I said 30K. He said it was a little high (which it was) and said if I wanted to sell for 28K, to let him know... (anything is worth what someone is willing to pay, and that was 28 grand without the HREs).:bored:

You aren't in the market. I wasn't trying to be rude to Steve, he's a great friend, I was just shooting a price I'd sell it for... Everyone know's I baby the hell out of that car... It's been to the track probably less than 90% of the C/Os out there...
