Damn, I'm embarrassed that I hadn't seen this until now. I had such a crazy day today I couldn't get on here at all. Rich (Cocoloco) actually called me to tell me to get on here because Eric was in the hospital, and Lightninmike sent me a text message about it.

Eric, my thoughts are with you bro. You're too young for this shit and we need you around here so get better!!! I don't want to bother you on your cell, but if you give me the okay I'll call you asap. Any of those nurses good looking???? :lol1:

Darcy, We all appreciate you coming on here to tell us about his condition. You have a great husband and he always speaks very highly of you. If everyone in this world was as helpful and generous as Eric is, the world would be a beautiful place. Please give him my best and if there's anything he needs please let me know. If he'll be at home for awhile recovering let me know and I'll ship him some DVD's to help pass the time.

I'm just curious, but is he a heavy smoker or drinker? Badly overweight? Don't see too many 34 year olds needing a stint. Kind of scares me when I'm 32 myself.

Well I was 32 when I was diagnosed with cancer, and I dont smoke, drink, do drugs etc. People always associate that stuff, but if it's gonna happen its gonna happen. I considered myself to be pretty healthy.

Hi everyone, this is Eric's wife Darcy. Eric is doing much better which means he's back to being a sarcastic ass. The doctor's tell us that his right artery was blocked 100% and he was actually having a heart attack. Before Wednesday night he hadn't shown any signs that he was having problems. Someone upstairs must really like him to make he's here with us.

i read this post and i called Marc to tell him what happened.
We were both shocked the same way. That can´t be real.
The bad things happen to the best guys..
Eric and you are in our thoughts and we hope Eric will be back home soon.

Marc and me were talking a lot about LightningFest last year.
Because of many changes we have not been sure if we will make it over to KansasCity again this year.
But now our decision is that we make it again to LightningFest.
The good time in life is to short to miss the chance to get together with good people like you and Eric.

Hey guys. Eric is doing good. Doctor said that there was minimal damage to the heart and artery, which is very good and that he is pleased with how Eric is recovering quickly, but he will need to stay in the hospital until Monday morning. He will have to be out of work for 3 to 4 weeks, so he will have plenty of time to chat online. Eric was excited to finally be able to shower this morning, and so was I. He has let me know that buying a built motor now will alleviate his stress and would be good for his heart. I ask that none of you encourage him. :nono:

Thanks again for everyones' prayers and well wishes!!! It means a lot to both of us!!! I hope that I will be able to thank you personally one day.
