Yeah 110mph for a stock GTO is definitely not the norm. I really thought the Mach would be a little faster than the GTO stock for stock. I took it to a LS2 GTO on the highway when I was stock. Put about 4-5 cars on him and I started in the wrong gear(4th). If a stock GTO traps 110, then my car traps 112-114 which definitely isn't happening.
muscle mustang and fast ford tested a stock mach 1 and 5.7 gto ( both manual) and the mach beat the goat by .1 of a sec. so i would think the 6.0 should beat the mach. probly not by much though
the average trap speed for a stock LS2 GTO is 108mph. some would trap higher, some would trap slower.

tune and minor mods, (CB, UD Pulley, Shifter, Ported intake, CAI, etc), bump the traps a tad more, this is what we called at ls1gto, super stock category, this cars still have stock gearing, factory exhaust manifolds, and stock convertes.

Alright, if you guys wanna set something up i live in Mobile AL and have a stock (weld in mufflers) no tuning, 6.0 GTO A4. Track or street doesn't matter to me. Just shoot me a PM and I'll bring the video camera.

Here's that infamous video of a modded Mach 1 vs a stock '06 GTO. The last race in the video shows the LS2 GTO's top end grunt and this Mach 1 has LT's, X-pipe, and a tune.

I don't think there's any question that an LS2 Goat is quicker/faster than a Mach 1. One thing that gets my GOAT (YES!) is when people call it a "driver's race" between two cars, meaning that a crappy driver in the faster car will lose to an excellent driver in the slower car. A drivers race, IMO, is when two cars are so close that very small errors by either driver loses the race.
+1000. No one gives the GTO any credit despite the fact that its only a hair slower than the Cobra.
I really like the goats and have to agree that it should be compared to the cobra stock for stock and not the mach1. As far as the driver's race stuff, the goat and cobra is a driver's race, if its done off of a roll. Neither of those cars is very easy to launch and their times stock for stock are pretty close.
