I know this is 4 videos and pics but i just bought a 93 GT and i have one little problem. the car has some sort of popping sound that sounds something like a miss fire from the spark plugs but i just did a full tune up and still when i accelerate it sound and feels like the car is choking and thats when it does the back firing sound so if anybody has any clue i would really appreciate your help thank:shrug::shrug::shrug:s

if you can hear it pinging, you better get that thing on a dyno. Could result in a big problem.

Have you changed your coil wires? stupid question.

its not a pinging sound its like a little explosion. but why on a dyno

to adjust things with access to tools and without going WOT a bunch of times where the cops can get to you.

I had a similar problem with my cobra while spraying nitrous. It would studder like it was backfiring or missing. weird.

aye man,i hade a similar problem.i bought a 92 5.0 mustang and when i first bought it, it idle good but when i stept on it,it choked up and ran like shit.It also backed fired. Also thought it just needed a full tune up and set the timing.Well i did all that and still the same problem.Got tired of it and started taking the motor apart,Happens to be a bent valve.So try checkin that on that by checking your piston compression.A normal compression will be 120 or higher.

i kinda thought so and hoped it wouldn't come 2 dat but is that hard to fix or what?

Back to basics; did you change the fuel filter? A clogged filter will starve the motor for fuel, causing a lean condition.
