I just did mine last weekend and it turned out good.
not sure im still debating but i want it slammed just like screemin cobra, but i want to start of small let it settle and if i need to ill cut more later on and i want to roll my fenders as well is the tool available at checker or autozone?
did you leave the iso's in the back how much is cut?

Screamin did 1 coil all around and that would be slammed for our shitty roads...But depends on what you want. You have CC plates already? Bumpsteer kit? I believe those stores have a roller but if not I think someone on DSC has a kit we can use. Im gonna try and do 1/2 coil front and maybe 5/8 rear and I hope I wont need CC plates but we'll see
He did 1 coil rear and little over 3/4 front
What do you guys think of cutting 1 complete ring off an 04 convertible and leaving the ISO's on? I dont want the raked look. I want the front and back to both look to be the same height and level.
ok guys I have a quick question.
I have an 03 Irs in my 03 gt with all stock cobra springs. I am about to cut a 1/2 coil off.
I have a couple questions. First question is, WHat end of the springs do I cut? How can I tell the top from bottom on the springs? How are the springs supposed to be oriented? will the pig-tails placement change after they are cut from the bottom? Will i need cc plates with only a 1/2 coil while keeping the iso's.
sorry for all the noob questions. I just want to know what im doing before im start.
thanks

You cut the Non-pig tail end; the pigtail is flattened.

Cut from the bottom,it kinda looks like a pig tail as you mentioned, the top of the spring is flat. You`ll see where the spring is supposed to sit when you get it out.The end of the spring sits in a little recess. Most likely you wont need cc plates w/a 1/2 coil.Don`t be sorry, that what this forum is about, help and advise. These guys have helped me out tons.
I really like the way that vert sits.Stock vert springs, stock ISO's, 1 coil off all four.
