I have this bracket and bolts are pretty rusted, where can we get stainless replacement bolts
Not really sure how that works. And it says 05-09 so I'm not sure if it will work on these cars. Doesn't look like it will work the same though. It looks to be a different design.Edelbrock Steel Belt Tensioner Brace / 2005-2009 Mustang GT & F150
anyone know if the edelbrock one will fit. Half the price and looks better in my opinion.

I believe it is the same size as the 03-04's, but the problem with that design is that's not where the tensioner flexes.that Edelbrock one is a really neat design! It "sandwiches" the aluminum arm in between 2 steel plates. Anyone know if the arm length is the same as ours? That would be the only reason that it wouldn't work, that I can think of.
Cast doesn't flex, it just cracks. So if it were to crack, it would just fail.hmm... didn't know that. I thought it was the cast aluminum arm that would eventually weaken, then crack after repeated flexing. How did you determine that the hub itself was the mode of failure?

You just bumped a 10+ year old thread. Just start your own thread.Probably a stupid question but when the tensioner “flexes” will it make a knocking sound and cause the belt to slip a bit? I recently replaced my factory tensioner but I keep getting the same issue. Running idlers, 3.1 upper and stock bottom. The belt is hard as heck to put on.
