Looking at a set of 18 03-04 Aftermarket wheels. But they are 18x10 on all four corners.

Who has seen that on a Cobra before?

Seems it wouldn't work?

I'm not sure about that Rob...seems that be too wide, esp if your car is low...

Wait just a dang minute...you've got TF wheels...why are you looking at 18" reps?????

I know...I was wanting some to put on for different purposes........and keep the TF looking New.. :)

I was thinking the same thing....but this guy has them on a 98 car.....they set fender flush....etc..

Chrome 18's with New BFG tires..

$1k

not a bad deal is it?

I have 18x9"s and they sit flush...I wouldn't go any wider.

depends on the backspacing. I doubt they are actually 18x10's on all 4 corners.

It'll work but you have to have an SLA or some sort or suspension modifications like tubular K-member and A-arms ect.. Talk with Griggs racing or MM... They'll point you in the right direction

They won't fit "right" without an aftermarket solution up front, as mentioned.

By fit "right" I mean do more than look good when parked and pointed straight.

I don't want to change suspesion to make it work....

I just thought it would be a pretty decent deal on wheels and tires....

but I am not sure how he is running 18x10 up front?

I may go check them out and make sure there not 18x9

285s

not sure its relative but ill share anyway. i have 18/9s up front, but still wanted a wider look so i went with 285 width tires (nitto).

i gather the wheels your looking at only come in 18/10s and bigger hence your question?

I was always under the impression you needed a SLA or something of the sort to fit an 18x10 up front.

No reason to go 10" wide up front imo

You need aftermarket suspension, but like I said call Griggs and or MM.. There is alot of reason to have 10'' up front. You gain a ton of grip on the track.. Roadcoarse that is.. You can run 315's on all corners as well..

Actually come to think of it, my buddy has 17x10's on all four corners but hes running a narrow tire.. and they are 17's.. So I know that 17x10's will work.. 18x10's tho.. i'm not to sure..

You could run a 285 or 295 with a slight stretch.

Ask Racebronco2, In his sig it says he runs 315's (I doubt thats on a 9" wheel) up front but his front suspension isnt stock I dont think. He would be able to tell you what you would need to do.

Rob, dont do it....the front end will track all over the road..some road racers do it but for highway use it freaking sucks, not to mention is more stress on your front wheel bearings, tie-rod ends and all...
