You guys really think they'll continue with a 2012 model?

I'm guessing that ford will use the BOSS as their front runner for a while.
We'll see the GT350s around and the Rapter.

Maybe later down the line when sales start to drop a little bit, we'll see a new SVT cobra. :poke:

why does the GT500 need to be improved on? i have no doubt that the GT500 + SVTPP will handle the standard boss 302 with no problem, and should be able to beat the laguna seca. ~100lb weight difference in favor of the boss 302, 110HP difference in favor of the GT500.
110HP > 100lbs less weight
the 5.4l should be continuing on until the 2014MY redesign.

Im not sure the new emissions laws will allow much more performance. I'll believe it when I see it. I hope im wrong. I hope to add another gt500 to the stable when they change body styles if it ever exists.

I personally would not expect much change from '11 to '12. Looking at history, in '10 they did the body change and in '11 they did the power/handling change, so I wouldn't expect another change of any significance until they are trying to lure people into the last MY for the body style. I would really doubt the TVS makes it onto a production GT500 as standard equipment since they wouldn't want to forfeit that revenue they are getting through FRPP on that one.

Ford has TVS equipped GT500 test mules running around. Don't be surprised if Ford adds the TVS for 2012. ;-)
