I was 20 days outside my warranty when I went for my initial fix a few weeks ago. Ford offered to pay half to get it fixed. I decided to wait and see if it pops thru and let my rust and corrosion warranty fix it. I didnt want to pay and have it to come back even with them offering a 2 year...

After thinking about it, I am gonna wait and see if it pops through the paint. I still have two years on the rust corrosion plan to fix it. No need in spending money.

For an update, Ford contacted me today and stated they would pay half of the cost to repaint the hood. So I will have to pay $189. I told them I would let them know in a couple of days cause I wanted to do some research and see if anyone had it done and the rust came back. I talked to the body...
