Anyone every buy a boost bypass from zz performance for a lightning? i bought one and the shaft is much shorter then the O.E. and i don't even see a way that you can adjust the butterfly valve to compensate for the shorter shaft. it seems like if i did mess with the stop it wouldn't operate...

so i guess my next question is if i buy a hand held i guess i can have a custom tune downloaded to it right with the egr turned off? or would it just be better to go to a tuner and have it done? i'm pretty much keeping this truck stock besides a cai and borla cat back rest of the stuff is just...

Hey guys i'm trying to avoid having to take my truck out to a tuner that is a long ways from me. i recently did an egr delete and i replaced my 18's with 20's, can i buy a hand held tuner and have someone build a custom tune to delete egr tune from the vehicle and calibrate the speedo for 20's...

Ya i know they don't really add squat unless you are going all out on mods and I'm staying pretty much stock. I was just asking far as quality and being a closed system what would be worth the money.

What's the best bang for the money? I was looking at the volant because I do like the idea of a closed system but wanted to hear from more experienced people.

Pop I'm really hoping that myself. I know when I Mach the gasket up it seems like it will be okay. I was just more worried about that chunk being down in the Intake runner.

Hey guys i sent my blower and intercooler off to jokerz and when I pulled my intercooler off I saw this but no trace of the piece broken off anywhere on my truck has anyone come across this before?

Ya thats what i was worried about but whatever it takes to make it work i guess, that is what is going to come down to these days.

hey guys i'm running the factory air box and where the maf bolts up to the air cleaner lid there is a foam type gasket that is round and it is discontinued from the factory, does anyone know of where i can get a replacement for this? or a modification to use a different gasket?

Trying to get my supercharger off the truck but it's stuck like hardcore, all bolts are out just can't get it to free up any advice would be great thanks. i'm pretty sure its hung up on the dowel pins but i don't want to beat the hell out of it as well.

So upon further investigation it is the power steering pump. i bought a stethoscope and isolated it to that, it just has a weird sound transfer to other places underhood depending on where you stand if that makes sense, but nontheless it is the pump =(

Hey guys its me again sorry i know i'm a pain in the ass about stuff but i do have a weird thing going on, so at idle with the hood up i can hear a strange loud humming sound that seems to be more present on the passenger side rather then the driver and it seems to follow the engine rpm also...

Anyone know what the motorcraft number is on the cobra valves people are using in these lightnings? The ones i'm coming up with are electronic for the 03 cobra.
