Alright guys, been living the single life for 6 months now (after 6 years of marriage) and my wardrobe has improved exponentially....save for 1 thing...my shoes!
I go out I wear very stylish jeans, button up shirts, sometimes a vest, etc.....and tennis shoes. I think I look pretty damn good...
I was in the checkout line at the BX here on Kadena and this marine (prob E-5/6ish if I had to guess) turns to me and says "Hey are you Air Force?". I said yeah. He says "How do guys get away with dressing like that?" and nods towards these two guys wearing shorts and wife beaters.

I'll try to make the story short. Wife and I separated in February after 6 years of marriage and 8 years of friendship. She filed March 1st and I left for Japan March 26th. I haven't seen her in nearly 5 months and have rarely contacted via email...
