Dealer replaced shocks (parts and labor) despite being over 2 years old (no warranty), probably due to low mileage. Drives like a regular Cobra again!

I have one of each. Nighttime and daytime versions. =) sometimes daytime car gets driven at night during the summer nights though...=D

Had a drive train issue, and the dealership had the car for awhile, and changed multiple parts. Finally fixed the issue, and shocks was a part that was replaced. Now it drives like a boat. I think I've hit the end of the shock several times in the few hundred miles I've driven it since the...

No i was not. Took awhile and had to go after market...I THINK its a Mishimoto...it failed after like 6 months, got a replacment under warranty and thats been working fine since.

Dealer says they are obsolete (understandable), but then said it would take "some time" to find them. I searched google, but don't know what i'm looking for. I asked him to put the part number on the work order, but he didn't (picked car up late Saturday). I will be calling him Monday...

Ok, these arrived today, but I noticed that the lens and the housing aren't sealed, what is the preferred method of sealing them? Straight up silicone?

There was a Mystichrome one on eBay back in 06 or so...only $45k. I couldn't' swing it then, would have been the epic piece to my collection. I'd probably pay $50k or $60k for that now without thinking.
