I'm tired of cleaning wheels after a short drive.

Anyone have a good street pad for minimum dust?

I ran the porterfield from van and there was much less dust, but recently went and bought a set of the carbotech from here that were never used. They seem to dust up a LITTLE faster than the porterfields but have a little better initial bite. I call it a draw between the two. If your interested in porterfields pm me.

Hey J yeah for that they should be ok with decent cooldown time between runs.

Not incriminating myself but they've hauled the Shelby down from ridiculous speeds on the highway no problem. :)

Thank you gentlemen.

I'm going to try the Centric. Very good pricing on those at $50.00.

They dust pretty low I've used them the last few years and bought another set to replace one brake pad that was contaminated with brake fluid.

Bad assembly of my calipers after p/coating by a shop caused brake fluid leak through my piston seals.

The other pads avail might dust less but these are 1/4 of the price of those so u decide what to use.

Centric and Stoptech are the same company fyi.

I've ran the carbotech 1521 for 5k miles and they've done great. They bite well & are low dust. The dust they DO make is actually a greyer looking color as compared to black on the wheels.
My car is white so after a day of pushing it hard I notice the dust more on the rear lower fender more so than on the wheels.
When these wear out, they'll be replaced with the same.

I found they do bite stronger then the Brembos. Took me a bit to get used to them. The Baers have instant grip so when you stomp them and not anticipating it you will be eating dash. They should be a improvement since the rears are 6 piston 14s and I upgraded to bigger 15s up front. I haven't had a chance to really test them @ a track yet.
