I wasn't aware that powergrid made wires as well. What kind of boots do they use on the sparkplug side?

Badass03SVT, I'm quite impressed by this type of work! I find it incredible to to take a stock car, and turn into a true racing car! Your dedication is appreciated!!

Very nice. I'm going to have to get in touch with him and see about picking up a set of those. I was going to use an old set of plug wires from a B head car and just cut them to length, but I'd prefer a new set. The plug side looks very nice, appears to have a bolt hole on it for a hold down, or maybe my old eyes are playing tricks on me.

Awesome build!! Been following your builds for a while now. Cant believe the amount of work that's been put into it. I'm glad I haven't seen anyone on here bash you for doing this to a cobra, as this amount of time, work, and money has to be respected. Cant wait to see it all done, You've gotta retake your spot from Keith as fastest cobra again!

Thanks. To each their own. i bought the car new and its not going anywhere. Even when it was going 9.80s as an Eaton car it would still cost more to buy a V6 and start over. The $ to get to this point is ridiculous.

I'm not worried about fastest. I only have a little 76mm. going to race competitively next year.

When Rob built his Pro-Mod the money he was spending on a weekly basis was insane But the guy has a great philosophy "You only live once, it's only money and you can make more"!

Oh boy I've seen that type install a few times. I'm wondering if you got the potential to compete in Ultra Street, what's your 1/8th mile ET goal Jake? 4.90's in the realm of possibility?

its been 4.90s. 4.91 best setup for 1/4. No reason it won't go 80s easily now.

Those guys are too damm fast now, multiple cars running high 4.30's.

not up here in the Northeast. Tracks are usually ok and the local track record is 4.58 set by the blue goose. Most of the cars in the X class up here are 4.60-4.80. Ive seen 5.0 cars win a race.

I agree.

I agree.

Oh Cool Jake yeah the guys Maryland and South like Rich Bruder and Dean Marinis are running stupid times. 4.60-4.80's is what they SHOULD be running. Have you considered Methanol or are you doing race fuel and ice?

I havent. I'm looking to run NMCA / NMRA circuit and have no desire to swap everything for fuel at this time.
