It's stories like this that scare the shit out of me. You can't trust some humans on the road anymore. They are dangerous and unpredictable monsters capable of terrible things with little provocation.

Carry often...
95% of humans are shitbags...

carry to make it easy to get too. Make it a SW 686+ or Ruger GP100 and call it a day.

I guess the guy was a real piece of work. His wife stayed in the car and didnt even get out after he was shot, he was a known woman abuser. Then his own brother got a hold of the girl and thanked her for ending him. He was that bad of a guy, and apparently his only issue with her riding was that she left too large of a gap from the car in front of her as she was in front of him. Im sure she did something else to agitate him as that was the impression we got from her, but still.

I think open carry is more detrimental than beneficial in some ways. You're basically drawing attention to yourself.

Yeah but riding you WANT a attention drawn to you so cars don’t squash you because Betsy wants to scroll through ****ing Facebook

Wouldn't that back fire?

In big populated areas, like Chicago, motorcycles tend to drive like complete twat waffles. Carrying a gun in such a populated area that is visibly seen is asking for trouble. That, in my opinion, won't benefit the biker and people may just make it harder for them if they see a gun.

We don’t ride in the city, nor do we ride like ass clowns. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do to draw attention to yourself until we put exhausts on the bikes. The issue is exhaust is a $2500 endeavor on these bikes, as ya should remove the cat (to gain power vs just add a tinny exhaust note with a slip on) and then ya gotta have it tuned.

But you also want them paying attention to the road and traffic, and not fixated on your weapon.

Another consideration - if another motorist sees your gun while you’re riding, there’s the chance he might want it more than you and there’s little stopping him from nudging your bike at speed and putting you down. Or following you to your destination and jumping you.

Just my $.02

I would LOVE to see the stones on someone who deliberately follows someone to their house and jumps them, when they have a weapon visible.

I dont live in Compton, Chicago, or Detroit. hahahah

Down here, people dont pull that shit.

Good thing about living in a liberal wasteland. A quarter of the people see it and probably respect that you are carrying while the other 3 quarters are either oblivious to what it is or terrified of you and stay away. The crazies willing to act on their insane ideas are going to be a really rare occurrence.

I was thinking more of a public place. Maybe you rode to a restaurant to meet friends and homie catches you in the parking lot when you’re distracted.

Maybe the restroom.

And I live in FL. Nuff said.

I don’t really frequent neighborhoods where that would be an issue.....tbh I’m at work 90% of the time. Hahaha completely understand what you mean though, in a less safe area i wouldn’t recommend it.

I don't ride a motorcycle, but I've pulled over several people carrying that happen to be riding a motorcycle.

Most of them had some type of "fanny pack" pouch between the handle bars that concealed their pistol. These folks happen to be out of state CCW holders and California doesn't recognize other states CCWs. I had a choice... Be a dick, or ya know.. spirit of the law. I let them go, thanked them for their time and exercising their rights. Pretty easy choice when they're obviously good people and not some POS felon.

Another concealed spot happen to be in the foot rest or something similar. It popped up with a specific depression of the pedal and others were by key. I apologize in advance for not knowing the biology of a motorcycle, but I thought it was a pretty unique spot to hold a pistol.

Others just carried strong side IWB.
