Nope! You’re not the only one.

I’d happily jump out of a perfectly good plane. The roof makes my palms sweaty just thinking about it.

I had to work Halloween this year and we got a call for a fall from a 30 foot ladder. Guy was putting up Halloween decorations in a big window at his house, the 30 foot ladder was fully extended. Ladder wasn’t footed and slid out while he was at the top. Fell about 28 feet and his wife found him on the floor during her lunch break. Guy had a compound Tib/Fib fracture on the left leg and a dislocated knee cap, on the right leg he had a dislocated hip and broke his femur in two spots. Won’t be walking for about a year. Young guy too, early 40s. He’s lucky to be alive. I won’t climb a ladder at work or any other time with out someone footing the ladder.
