BF2 has been out for over a year and there’s still problems that haven’t been resolved, and new problems have come to fruition. They’ve been constantly updating. Grevious was a nightmare, only one of his abilities worked when he was introduced. Kylo has become almost useless. I won’t go on but you get the idea.
Reason why a buddy of mine wants to get back to cod. Told him it’s WW2 or I’m not doing it. Haven’t played a cod game since ghost.

Pick your poison.

There’s a rumor that Modern Warfare 4 is on the horizon. I would lose my shit.

For me, it just seems like the same old hat but "now you can fly!" Great, more grinding. Destiny meets Iron Man. Sounds awesome on paper but it just ends up being the same loop as most other games. Shoot dumb enemies, get better gear to look cool, fly to the same places over and over. Repeat, buy DLC, repeat.

The dreaded micro transactions, you forgot about that as it is an EA game and we all know that is their MO is micro transactions

Dang, so seems like a flop thus far? Kind of depressing since a lot of reviews before the game were out kept saying "this is what Destiny was supposed to be." Oh well, Metro Exodus also just came out so maybe it's time to see about that.

I wouldn't write it off as a flop just yet. Beta testing is used to work out kinks and stress test the system that's what they are doing. I got completely hosed for the VIP demo and I'm still holding out hope that, come Feb 22, I'm going to be blown away with the final product and want to spend hundreds of hours in that world. Yes, there were connectivity and log in issues. But everyone that was able to play and put time into the demo says it's a blast.

I will say this though, if EA burns me this time, they're dead to me.

Fail on my part, don't know why I thought it was February 27th and this already released. It's been a long day haha.

What is the chance Beta will end on the Feb 22nd? Ask because RDR2 has been in Beta since November I think.

The Demo was only a flop at first. Once they got the issues from Friday handled it was smooth sailing. There were still some issues with loading and having to quit the game.
But Demo round 2 will be this weekend and they are putting out an update for it. So even more issues will be handled. I will be on again. Goal is to get all 4 javelins to a 150+ score.

Also I would not consider this beta testing completely. This is a 6 week old build and the final game got the green light and is being put on disks for shipment as of now. So anything that comes from these Demos and any other feedback is getting set for the first Patch.
I am happy they will now allow running in FT Tarsis.

The one thing in the 1st patch i look forward to is goddamn way points in free play! It is driving me crazy!

Going to the store to get a game?

Any last minute thoughts on this game?
Worth it?

About 6 hours in and having am absolute blast.

The hate for EA and fanboy butt-hurtedness about Mass Effect Andromeda is overpowering all the reviews.

Some of the criticisms are completely legitimate. There is not A TON of gear. And what is there does feel a little “same-ish”. But the core gameplay is a blast. Flying around has never felt better. The guns and skills fee satisfying and the story is very interesting. The matchmaking is seamless and, thus far, teaming up with randoms haven’t presented any problems.

As far as the content goes, this is launch day on a game as a service. Yes, if you play 10 hours a day, you might run out of content quickly and be left twiddling your thumbs until the next DLC (free DLC mind you). But even still, there are already daily, weekly, and monthly challenges.

The customization is deep and the world seems full of stuff to do.

I am enjoying it and recommend it to anyone that is willing to go into it with an open mind and not just playing it to “Confirm BioWare is a shadow of what it once was and EA is just out for your money.”

***Again, admittedly only 6 hours in. So take my opinions for what you will.

My buddy has it already and beat the game. I think he had it early this week.
He enjoyed it. He showed me some of the footage of him kicking ass that he recorded on his phone at work.

Unfortunately it seems to have gone over like a sick fart in a hot church. I'm sticking with Metro Exodus for now.
