Getting a CDL isn’t hard. Hell, I got one on my first try, (written and driving/walk around) so anyone can do it.

What’s the cost associated with getting CDL training?
I’m interested in getting one and work across the state of Texas.

I also got it on my first try but it isn’t quite that easy. The driving school I went through said 70% of people fail the first time.

Truthfully, no regrets. Not saying I haven't done things wrong, or made poor choices, but each and every one has forced me to learn, and become the person I am today. I do wish I'd saved more though. Gonna be working until I die, as it looks now.

Some of you guys are to worried about retirement. Once some of you get to retirement you might realize you’d rather be working. I know countless seniors who have full time jobs because they got bored of retirement after a few months. My father included.

Im scared of not being able to enjoy old age after I watched countless family members literally struggle to the very end. Its miserable to see.

I understand that completely. I cant imagine literally running out money before you die. Cause then what? But working into your 60s and 70s could ease the burden a little.

Take up a trade. Have had as much as 75 employees running businesses. Know damn well if I had taken up something such as Plumbing or Electrical I would have 20-30 trucks out there now. They say it is never too late but lack the capital to invest in getting it going.

Failing health and no insurance ate the savings up quickly. They wind up living off of nickels and dime to get by.

Spend more time with Grandma. :(

As a kid, I never really lost anyone I knew. I was a teen with all 4 grandparents. I always was closest to my mom's parents. We lived near them and saw them about weekly. I moved away at 20, and it was just a "see ya later." As I got home every other year or so I would see them, and they started to slow down, but it didn't click. Then one time there was a call saying "your grandma is in the hospital." A few days later is was "you might want to come visit." I did, and we lost Grandma a couple days later.

I've been home several times since and visited Grandpa every time but recently, he's slowing down. Last year and last month I flew home for his birthday and took him out for pizza....with the ****ed up thought "because I might not get another chance."

The other side of that is losing really close people young. I basically smoother my fam to where they try to pry me off like skinning a hide with a knife.

That’s ok, feeling love and being the wind at your family’s back is why we are here. Making money is a cake walk when you care for and about others and have self esteem. Hard decisions are easy. Hard work is easy. Wasting is impractical.

You’ll make and keep plenty of money when you make it to support and feed your loved and reciprocally loving family. We fall to apathy when we spend all our time on ourselves simply because our love with fam has dried up. (En mass. Obviously the richest people only focus on money and have a drive to make it at all extents, almost autistically)

We are like a candle. Our flame is weak and does little when left alone. When we light other candles, our flame grows large.

The reason the world is so ****ed right now because people decided a while ago that others should have a bigger role in helping them and their families than they should. Will collapse society every time it’s tried.

Get a small personal or business loan. You’d be surprised how quick they can ramp up.
