Tune Issue

So i bought a SCT X4 wireless Tuner a while back now and i can’t seem to get the tune to upload to the car. I follow all directions but it says it’s trying to connect to the ECU but will fail damn near immediately after me pressing upload. I’ll hear some wiring noise like a fan but once the tune fails the wiring noise stops. Any ideas on what’s stopping it?

Where did the tune come from that you’re trying to upload?

I've heard the bluetooth stuff doesn't play nice with our cars. Try plugging in directly.

If it's chipped removed the chip. If you don't have the handheld that has the tune take it to a dealer and have them reflash it back to stock.

However, if you have a tune right now you can use it. The SCT will just save the current tune in the spot reserved for the stock tune. And as mentioned, plug the device in. Don't bother with Bluetooth.

I'd be surprised if it was chipped. But if there is one, it would be attached to the computer which is located behind the plastic kick panel in the front passenger floor board.
