I need to order a vacuum sealer here shortly for use with umai dry age bags. Every one on amazon has high average reviews but there seem to be a lot of 1 star, "doesn't last," "stopped working after 2 weeks," "defective on first and second order," etc... reviews.

Do any of youse have experience with a good vaccum sealer? Are there any youse would recommend?

Not sure if the link will work, but the one I have is similar to this FoodSaver® GameSaver® Outdoorsman at FoodSaver.com.

Mine isn't colored like that though but it's more or less the same shape/style from foodsaver.

It works just fine, I haven't ever had a single problem. I used all the bags it came with and half of an off-brand 50' roll that I cut to make my own bags. I use them for sous vide and freezing stuff.

I've never used a drying bag though, so I don't know if that would create issues.

I dont know anything about the make up/thickness of those bags, I have the foodsaver Costco sells and no real issues after several years. It does seem to need a few minute rest after 6-7 bags to cool down
