Looking around, I am not seeing anything specifically for the '07-'09 GT 500 cars, but I am seeing things for '05-'09 GT's or 2010-2014's. Is there a reason that the kits start at '10 and above? Are the kits that are for the '05-'09 GT's good for the GT 500's as well? I don't want to buy the '05-'09 kit and find that it doesn't suit my needs.

The only real 07-09 GT500 kit was the SLP/Roush kit. Call Roush and see if they still have any sets left. When I bought mine in the summer, I got one of the last 3 sets I think it was.

The Hurst should work, but you are modifying the bracket at the very least and maybe some line bending.

Roush 05-09 Mustang Line Lock Kit

According to lethal description this works with the 07-09 gt500. Id say call lethal tomorrow.
They do not have them. I have told them before about taking old stuff off their site. They really need to hire someone to go through old non existent products and do some general maintenance to their site.
Also to add, their price was like +$100 more for the same kit, than directly from Roush

I can assure you that you will not find an SLP or Roush kit anywhere on the web. I literally just started calling places and ended up getting 1 from Roush directly that had 2-3 left sitting on the shelf that was not advertised anywhere.

Thanks for the updated info. Im guessing the 07-09 are becoming a dying breed now with all the lastest and great 2020 GT500s.

Still love my 2008 GT500, wouldn't mind some day adding a 2021/2022 GT500

I guess I will have to piece together a line lock kit. Thanks for all the replies. If the weather holds out, going to try to hit Cecil County dragway on March 7th for their opener and would like to be able to do a "proper burnout". If I get it together before then, at least that part won't embarrass me, lol. Car should be low 11's/maybe high 10's if the driver can avoid doing anything stupid and not experience that 1-2 lockout at the most in-opportune time. Here's hoping.

Same boat here and same reason I got one. I cannot hold a burnout in this car to save my life. I dont get it.
For the 1-2 lockout, make sure pinion angle is on point and get a CHE K member brace. All my lockout is GONE!
