Had FRP diff girdle installed 6 weeks ago. During recent dyno session, noticed it was leaking slightly. Tuner thought it might be from spewing/seeping out of vent tube on girdle. Is this common under heavy load from dyno session or routine highway cruising? Fluid overfilled? Or poor installation?

Probably overfilled, it happens alot. "Full" is about 1/2" below the fill hole or about 1.25 quarts including the friction modifier.

You can always run a catch can on it, I run a Bob's Autosport. Never had a problem since

I recently had an issue with mine. It was leaking out of the load bolts. Had to back them out and put thread sealer on them.

Most likely it's just somewhat overfilled. Going to the fill level hole on that FRPP cover is about 2 quarts. I believe it needs to be about 1.5 quarts to not puke out of the vent.

You should be able to look at the vent hose to confirm that's where it's coming from. If it is, the fluid was likely overfilled. Went through that recently with a buddy of mine 2 weeks ago.

Agreed w it probably spewing. Had this same problem. Just a light coat that formed on the diff cover and dropped some from above on my polished cat back. Recently installed a catch can. Haven’t noticed any more garage drops since. I should check the can to see if it has anything in it.
