No porn yet, but just bought an Anderson stripped lower. Gonna be ordering a 10.5" PSA pistol kit at some point.

Really good to hear, I didn't do as much research as I should have but it wasn't an expensive part so wasn't as worried. I'm think the 2 round mag extension is really gonna help with holding it. I have the pinky extension but this will do more.

That's a nice extension, and it's made in the U.S.A. I like your Copper choice, but the OD Green is nice, too.

I was actually gonna go with the orange but I couldn't tell which was orange. It isn't listed as orange. There is Tan and Copper...neither are orange..and it looks orange...haha. I ended up getting a color I knew I could match though so OD Green it was. I did my Beretta in green although I wish the CW grips matched a little better.

Thought the average for 9mm was .50 a round now? It go up again?

Only place I could find it in north Texas was my local gun dealer. I bought 4 boxes (all he had) 2 weeks ago for $15/box.

His opinion is that the manufacturers are mostly located up north and COVID is shutting them down or they are scaling back. He paid $600 for 1k rounds.

I’d rather have it than not. I called 6 different gun shops today and they were all out, online is out, and I’d rather have it than not...

I’m being stingy with my 9mm ammo. I think I have about 2000 rounds. I know a few people that are selling their ammo and guns now while they can make a profit. Who knows how long it’ll be before you can replace your ammo at .19 a round- my guess is it’ll be quite a while.

.308 and 6.5 creedmoore along with 350 legend is plentiful where I live. Boxes of the stuff at local shops and branded stores.

None of the more popular stuff is though. I seen several boxes of Tokorav ammo with dust on them at a local gun shop at a good price. Time for people to start buying surplus guns and get out of the polymer stuff. Lol

Looks like the OD Green will go well with it. As far as the "orange", I went through the available color and COPPER is the only one that was unmatched, as was that orange extender. So I'm certain what we're seeing as orange is what they're calling Copper. I would have called it Orange Fury!

From my understanding and what I have heard from a few gun shops, we won't get back to pre-shortage prices until Nov 2022.

On the SOCOM 2, what mount is being used for your reticle? I am throwing around the idea of possibly putting a scope on my M1A or maybe even a reticle.

Springfield Armory M1A Vortex Venom Red Dot Mount

I’d scope yours.

The mount is made by Springfield and comes standard on their CQB model, it’s the lowest mount available, and a micro red dot because the socom is meant for short range work. I have an ARMS #18 mount on my national match, again lowest profile there is. Yet to scope it. The Sadlak mounts are nice, too

Check out the M14 forum, tons of info there and there are a few mods you can do to accurize that gun. I’d start with a trigger tune

Well I was filling out the paperwork to have the slide and barrel work done on my M&P Shield but I want to make sure the Hyve OD Green mag extension, mag release and trigger will match the slide as best possible. I ordered three swatches to compare to the Hyve gear when it comes in. Rather take my time......but not a patient man.

While I certainly enjoy my modern sporting rifles, M1A's, etc, my favorite memories are brought back when having a bolt action rifle with wood stock in my hands. Hunting with my Grandfather, Dad, Uncles, and Brother when I was young. The first buck that was taken down, the first deer shot when put into the stand by myself, learning how to cycle the bolt during recoil for a follow up shot.

I have tried to explain to non-hunting types the feeling that rushes through your body when you take down a deer with either a bolt action, or compound bow. Very addictive.

Yup...i have several bolt rifles and two pump actions...we arent allowed to hunt deer with autoloaders in PA...and i like it that way

I also hunt deer with a bow and a flintlock...flintlock hunting is lots of fun....ans damn hard!
