so needless to say I need some good lighting in my garage. I only have one bulb on my garage opener LOL. So what is the easiest option?? I have one outlet strip with 6 ports, other than that not many electrical outlets.

You should have an extra plug up at the garage door opener.

I’d put a couple fluorescents in but some guys were posting some other cool options recently

If you go into the Pic and Vid buffet ( a couple below the roadside) there is a pretty good thread about lighting going on, it may give you some ideas also.

LED is the way to go. I have a large center section in my garage. I had 4 fluorescent fixtures but changed them out with 4 keyless regular light sockets a screwed in LED bulbs.

All lighting in this pic is LED. The brightest illumination comes from the windows of those big center doors. The bulbs a around $30 each at Rural King.

added the 6 bulb set up, plugs into 110 or you can hardwire to a switch.
